No longer unused. The cover for John Arcudi's and Jonathan Case's "The Creep" #3, out in November from Dark Horse Comics. It's a very good book, so you should check it out.

I had some sketches of Cary Grant around so I turned one of them into this small painting. Looking forward to working more with real paint in the future (this was half and half).

the one-shot has been announced (as well as the trade paperback of The Burning Hand), so here's the cover for it. colored it myself again. this one just appeared whole, out of nothing... and it's pretty close to the original thumbnail too, even down to the stiff shoulders:
