from a while ago, but might be interesting to some. hopefully there'll be some surprises in there! it follows the rules of the meme, hence the omission of a number of important people. also, looking back, these "influence maps" in the end turned out to be more about "things we like (and hope have influenced us)", didn't it?

Anyone who lists Toth, Kurosawa, Watterson, John Paul, the Coens, Sickles, Fawcett and Mazzucchelli as influences is a definite hero to me!
