original art

For everybody who's been asking about original art: I am now represented by Splash Page Comic Art. Pages from the first two issues of Lobster Johnson are currently available, with more coming in the following months. No other pages are currently for sale. If you don't see the pages you want, they are either gone already or not for sale. And, as I said, art from the remaining Lobster Johnson issues, as well as some more Who is Jake Ellis? art, will be available soon.

(click to enlarge) i wanted to use the bit of free time to work a bit with real paint (gouache in this case), and i wanted to draw this photo for ages, so i combined the two. much more coherent than the last attempt, so i'll count it as a success. here's a detail:

pill murray

until then, watching some of his movies will have to do. more sketchbook nonsense in the shape of comics. this pun has been in my head for at least six years-- glad to free up some space for useful thoughts.
