Thats so wrong, cuz your comics are every bit as impressive as your paintings. They're just different, and even though they may appear simpler, I think they're even more difficult to produce, because you have to represent movements, postures, wrinkles, hairs, tones - and what have you - with simple brushstrokes and lines. You got to express so much with so little. Thats at least how I see it.
quoted for agreement for the above poster. Your newer stuff is a bit more, how to put without sounding wrong, "sophisticated". Albeit I like your old sketchbooks pages where you explore the anatomy the newer stuff is facking top notch. Do you post any sketchbooks on any other forum nowadays?
miljenko, that pretty much nails it. good job =)bjorn- nope, i stopped posting and even visiting forums because i no longer see a point in that. don't really learn anything there that you wouldn't by just working hard on your own. so it's better to just focus on the work instead of other people's comments. guess for some people it works, but i can't say it does for me.
great to know!
Sorry for commenting on old post, but I like your new stuff better. :)
